Riverland Energy will award 32 $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors. Two eligible graduating seniors from each of the following schools will be selected: Alma, Arcadia, Blair-Taylor, C-FC, Durand, Eleva-Strum, G-E-T, Gilmanton, Holmen, Independence, Mondovi, Onalaska, Osseo-Fairchild, and Whitehall. 


In addition, two at-large scholarships will be awarded to eligible seniors who live on our lines, but don't attend any of the schools listed above. 


We will also be awarding two $1,000 Line Worker scholarships to individuals pursuing a post-secondary education in an electrical line worker program. The applicant must be a senior from  a high school listed above. 


Applicants must be a current high school senior and his/her parent or guardian must reside in Riverland Energy service territory. Scholarships my be used for college tuition, books, school fees, food, or lodging at any two or four-year accredited college or university including vocational and technical school. 


One recipient from each high school listed above will be chose in a random drawing at our Annual Meeting on Saturday, March 25 at the Arcadia High School. The applicant or the applicant's parent or guardian must be present to win. 


Applications are due on March 15, 2023.
