Load Control Metering Technician 

Riverland Energy Cooperative is seeking a qualified candidate for the full-time position of a Load Control Metering Technician in our Arcadia office. This position requires a self-motivated individual to be responsible for advanced installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating meters and power quality monitoring equipment; monitoring and coordinating the operation, maintenance and testing of all metering equipment and metering software to ensure accurate meter readings, and perform data analytics within the Meter Data Management System. Other responsibilities include installing, testing and monitoring of the Demand Response Management System equipment and assisting the membership with energy concerns.

Preference given to applicants with an Associate’s degree (A.A.) or technical degree in electronics or computer technology; or three years related experience or training. Experience or training in electrical wiring or distribution line school may also be considered.

Information Technology Intern

Riverland Energy Cooperative is seeking a IT Intern to assist the IT department on all activities pertaining to its hardware and software systems, technical support, and IT projects as assigned. 

The ideal candidate will be pursuing a degree in IT, Information Systems, or a related field. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must. This is a paid temporary position and will report out of our Arcadia or Holmen office with the opportunity for some remote work.

Communications/Marketing Intern

Riverland Energy Cooperative is seeking a Communications/Marketing Intern to assist the communications department on all activities pertaining to its marketing, communications and member services programs.

Under supervision, this individual will assist with a variety of internal and external projects including publications, media releases, digital communications, website, graphic design, photography, video, and event planning.

The ideal candidate will be a junior or senior in college pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, advertising, marketing, or a related field. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office are a plus. This is a paid temporary position and will report out of our Arcadia or Holmen office with the opportunity for some remote work.
