Riverland Energy Cooperative will slowly resume business as normal
Riverland Energy Cooperative will be resuming regular business practices beginning Tuesday, May 26. All employees will be reporting back to the offices, with the intention of opening the offices to the public on Monday, June 1.
Disconnects were temporarily suspended during the “Safer at Home” order, but will continue at the end of May, disconnecting only those who have who have billing debt from 2019. Our disconnect procedure will resume as normal in June.
In order to help members who are facing financial challenges caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, we are returning capital credits earlier this year. Eligible members will see a credit on their August or September bills.
We encourage you to take safety measures and continue social distancing when entering our office and around our employees. Please stay home if you are sick.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone again!
